Don’t be panicking!

The ongoing madness of people shopping for toilet paper and other daily necessities under the threat of the coronavirus reminded me of the days with my grandma. The emergence of modern style toilet papers is relatively new in Japan, let’s say around the days after World War 2, and I still remember my grandma softening some ” Chirigami” or even newspapers when we ran out of toilet paper. So, don’t be panicking! We can manage to live without them! ; ) Good old days!
